Kim and her sister were doing some shopping yesterday. She also bought a signal booster cell phone because she often travels and in other places her phone doesn’t have a network. It sucks especially if she needs to make a call. There were times that she has to borrow phone from a stranger so she could make calls. And she hates doing that.

Emily is looking for houston landscaping. She just bought this gorgeous house and she was surprise how flat the yard looks. There’s no garden, no design at all. I attended a party last night. It was a thanks giving party of my officemate whose two sons have graduated from college. When my other officemates and I went to the party we were expecting that it was in honor of the graduates but we were all surprised because the honorees have also given recognition to their parents. They have given tokens to their parents – certificates of appreciation for giving them education. The certificates were placed on a frame and given to their father and mother. The father was also given his favorite cao cigars and the mother received a personalized pendant.

As usual when I arrived at the office this morning, my officemate and closest friend Jenny was still not around. She was late again. She has been late in coming to work since last week because they have people working in their house. Part of their house is being renovated. When she arrived this morning she immediately came to me. I thought she was going to say something about updates on their house but she showed me a silver jewelry - a bracelet. She then excitedly told me that it was given by her boyfriend.

WORD CHECK..Ridiculous but it is sometimes significant for us to ensure proper word spelling and grammar especially if we ought to wish somebody good vibes but might end up wishing the other way around. One Friday night, I went online checking on my emails and my site as well. Someone I know wrote on my wall like this: “wishing you good health and best of carrier” (?)Of course, I discerned what he meant but publishing it for the world to read might make him a laughing stuff. Nobody’s perfect but we should be vigilant enough on stuffs we say or write as these may affect on how people see or feel about us. Absurd but Did he really mean the best for me to make things lighter in life or the worst to burden me to death?

My younger sister bought a brand new sofa for me almost two years ago when she came home in the Philippines for a two-month vacation. The sofa has a lovely recliner and its color is very nice. I didn’t experience any problems with my sofa until I noticed a small patch on four parts of the sofa and with more wrinkles than the rest of the sofa. My officemate Patria was very busy on processing her clearance to go abroad. In our company, an employee is required to have clearance from our different department offices when one plans to go abroad even if it’s only less than a month. I was at the mall this afternoon with my father. I just met him there after my work because we agreed to watch a movie together. Before going inside the movie house we went first to Handyman.
