Not Helping Someone To Be Strong

I have a friend who worked hard to provide for her family and send her younger sister, Lalac to college. She wanted her to finish her studies like any normal students do. However, she expected Lalac to study at her pace and not her own. She overlooked one important fact—Lalac has a short-term memory deficiency, is slightly deaf and has speech problems. She was diagnosed to have dyslexia. She was angry with her for being so dependent. She berated and belittle her, which made her sister more insecure.
